The Call

I got a call this morning that no one wants to hear...

Mom was rushed to emergency last night.

After a pretty stressful week and a night with her grandchild, Mom was pretty worn out. Dad said that Mom had a hard time communicating with him and eventually Dad felt something was very wrong. Matthew and Dad took Mom into the hospital and she ended up staying overnight for tests and observation.

Sounds like extreme fatigue and a possible TIA ended up being the diagnosis. Mom was allowed to go home this afternoon and finally get some rest (you can never rest in a hospital... odd isn't it?).
